Crochet the knit stitch! Increase, decrease, flat AND in the round! ( Waistcoat / Split Stitch )

How to make crochet look like knitting with the waistcoat stitch, aka the split or knit stitch! This is a variation of the single crochet stitch, so if you haven't learned that yet, make sure you check out my previous tutorials on foundation chains and single crochet. This tutorial shows how to increase, decrease, and work this stitch flat AND in the round. Since learning it, it's definitely my favorite stitch to use on crocheted bags and clothing, and it's PERFECT for crocheting hats and double thick scarves! Thank you guys so much for being here, and I hope this tutorial is helpful for you! I'll admit I had a hard time learning this stitch when I was first getting started, so I understand that it can be frustrating, but once you're able to adjust your tension, I PROMISE this gets so much easier and faster to crochet. If you have any questions or tips you'd like to add, please feel free to add them in the comments! Thanks, and good luck with your crochet projects! :)
